Inside the ramparts of Essaouira, Christine, Marylène and Pierre are happy to welcome you to a beautiful historical house, and to offer you comfort and conviviality in a place with all the authenticity of wealthy souiri family life of former days.

Located in a quiet alley at the intersection of the main centres of interest, the guesthouse allows you to alternate visits to the colourful medina with relaxation on the terrace, which towers above the roofs overlooking the sea, or with massage sessions in our well-being centre.

The house, built by a rabi a hundred years ago, will charm you with its exceptional beauty and the harmony of its construction blending the Arabic, Berber and Jewish influences.

The light of the external windows in italian style mixes with the brightness of the patio; the wooden painted ceilings and the thuya ones coexist in harmony, and the Andalusian zelliges contrast pleasantly with the furniture of Arabian-Berber style, plunging you into the unique mix of cultures which shaped the spirit of the city.

In the evening, after an aperitif watching the sunset on the sea, you can meet with friends around a fire, or in the intimacy of lounges lit by candle-glow, whilst you wait to taste the treasures of the Moroccan kitchen

Location

The Villa is right in the heart of the old town, close to all centres of interest. It is less than a 150 meters walking distance to the souks, the Scala and the Moulay El Hassan square.

The Dining: In the morning you may enjoy breakfast of home-made bread, moroccan pancakes and marmalade, together with viennoiseries, fresh fruits and argan oil.

Dinner is prepared on demand by our talented chef of Pasha, using fresh products from the local market and catches of the day, this will allow you to savour the best of moroccan cuisine. Villa Garance offers a solarium-terrace to sunbathe or relax, and can help you discovering the surrounding countryside on horseback or camel.

But what makes Villa Garance stand out is of course its Welness Centre, where you can ask for a wide range of massages : Oriental with argan oil / Relaxing with essential oils / Massage for children / Energising and relaxing Nuad Boran  / Slimming /Schiatsu / Specific massages for the back and face / reflexology of the feet.

Wi-Fi is at your disposal to surf on the net.


Roomtypes:

Eight spacious rooms are arranged around the patio to welcome two or four guests in great comfort.They also have windows opening on to a quiet and bright street.

Every room is located near one of the several small lounges of the villa, allowing one to meet with friends. Both four bedroom suites have their own private lounge. Two additional rooms located on the terrace (one double room and one suite with four beds) afford you complete privacy.

Prices

Seasons :

High Season is from December 20 to January 7, February 15 to May 15, June 17 to June 22 and from  July 14 to November 8. All other dates are Low Season.

Extra persons :

The rates quoted are for 2 guests. An extra guest comes at an additional 10€ per night. Should the extra guest be a child under the age of 12, the extra charge is of 5€ only.
