Eric and Rose, the landlords, are fascinated by the "Red City" of Morocco. Ten years ago, they fell in love with this Dar - a traditional Moroccan house with a nice four-accomodating-side patio.
Now is your turn to enter this genuine 19th century Ryad which has been thouroughly restored according to the principles of tradtional and local architecture.
This place is cosy, comfortable and spacious enough to welcome a large family or a group of friends. Also single travellers have their place here. You will be attended by a devoted and friendly local personnel.

Comfortable and roomy, the riad Dar Malak can receive people travelling alone, couples or a family of 2 adults + 2 children.
Location
Dar Malak is located in 20, derb Assabane, which is in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech, near to Quartier des Tanneurs. This means it is a 5 minute walk to reach the souks, and a 15 minute walk through the Medina to Jmnaa el Fnaa Square.

The Dinner
During your stay, you can ask to prepare dinner in the evening. Simply ask Eric, who will be glad to organise a traditional meal for you, either in the patio or one of the groundfloor lounges. The cuisine includes tajines, couscous, or other Moroccan specialties.
Rooms and Rates
Room Malak (Double Bed)
Located at the ground floor, the Malak Room gives directly on the patio. Decoration is purified, but always faithful to the Eastern charm. Furnished with a double bed, it has a bathroom in tadelakt (traditional Morrocan technical of lime plaster) contiguous to an authentic hammam.
Orient Suite (Double Bed)
The "Orient" Suite, on the first floor offers a pleasant intimacy thanks to its situation and to its double doors which open on a gallery overhanging the patio. It is with no contest the most traditional room of the riad; decoration and furniture are refined and the ceiling is decorated multicoloured rosettes and verses of Coran in stucco. It was restored by Moroccan craftsmen, guards of a know-how and architectural traditions.
Levant Suite (2 Single Beds)
While crossing one of the galleries of the first floor, you enter the "Levant" Suite. Comfortable room equipped with a privative living room agreably decorated with textiles to the reasons mixing the East and contemporary minimalism. In the prolongation of this living room, the bathroom recently renovated will be able to allure you.
Occident Suite (1 Double Bed and 2 Single Beds)
Located on the first floor, the "Occident" Suite makes it possible to accommodate to 4 people. It reigns there calms it because it is furthest away from the patio. Ideal for families. The large room furnished with a double bed is all in length and is lit by the single window of Riad giving on the derb (lane). A large dressing room, a living room giving on the patio which can accommodate two additional hosts and a roomy bathroom, make this Continuation one of most pleasant of Riad.
